Video Cooking Class

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Hey friends! I was originally planning on hosting a zoom cooking class Saturday June 20th, however due to low registration I pre-recorded the video. This class is free, however I am asking that you donate to support “COFED” which is a queer and transgender people of color-led organization that partners with young folks of color to build food and land co-ops. In light of supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, Pride month, and tying it all back into food, I thought this would be a great organization to support.

We will be making tahini chocolate fudge and greek yogurt avocado ranch dip. Both of these recipes are pretty simple and easy to make, and require minimal equipment. If you cannot find one of the required ingredients at your store (I realize that COVID is still affecting things!) message me here or on instagram and I can help you figure out a substitution.

    Jamie,

I love easy, peasy recipes. However, I hate cilantro (tastes like soap and makes everything near it taste like soap!). Parsley is my substitute for all things cilantro. Just typing the word makes my skin crawl. Xo. Renée

My roommate thinks the same.. I have used parsley before and it has worked well. Sometimes I leave out the ranch and just use parsley, avocado, greek yogurt, olive oil, and garlic which is yummy too!
